Short and large variant viewer integration: Short variants, CNVs, SVs, and UPDs fully supported for case-level classification and reporting, with automatic detection of similar event classifications across analyses.- Case vs. account knowledge: Two distinct data levels for short variants, each with dedicated columns and icons, change logs, and associated permissions (“VKB v2”).

🔍 Large Variants Now Searchable in VKB
Classified variants from the Large Variant Viewer can now be retrieved directly through VKB Search, bringing large variant history into your existing curation workflow.
The search engine now includes a variant type filter, and supports two distinct search modes depending on the variant type:
- Small variants can be looked up by classifications, VKB entries, or both — as before.
- Large variants can be searched by gene, chromosomal location or cytoband, tag, or variant type (Gain, Loss, etc.), allowing broad queries such as searching across an entire chromosome. Results display occurrences across analyses with direct links, and when the same event appears multiple times, the most recent one is shown at the top.
